Under fire for sending rude emails to the public, Sen. Stacey Campfield is playing the victim card. He says he's the target of "homosexual activist community" bullying and he's not going to take it anymore. Says Campfield:
"I take responsibility for everything that comes out of my office. There is a very loud, very vocal two percent of the community, more or less the homosexual activist community who likes to threaten, intimidates, insult, belittle people. You know what I'm not going to put up with it. That's not my job. I'm not here to be somebody's piñata."
Chas Sisk reports Campfield sent identical nasty emails to several critics. One of them, Nashville's Telisha Arguelles Cobb, had this to say about Campfield’s laughable claims of victimhood.
“He’s saying that I am trying to bully him,” she said. “He’s bullying the gay and lesbian community, he’s bullying me, and he’s bullying anyone else who does not share his opinion.”
