PUJOL at Fond Object on Record Store Day 2014.
Fond Object has been on a roll with their in-store shows lately, booking legends like Greg Cartwright and Paul Collins for free gigs at the shop for record dorks of all ages. But this Sunday, following complaints from one of their neighbors, they need your assistance with soundproofing the joint so that the show can go on.

Benefit show? Benefit show!

Perennial faves PUJOL headline the July 27 endeavor to raise the necessary funds to soundproof the shack in Fond Object’s backyard (dubbed the Gypsy House), returning to the shop’s backyard for the first time since their Record Store Day appearance earlier this year. Also along for the ride are Murfreesboro power-pop refugees Mom and Dad along with Study Hall, who will kick off the show with an acoustic set.

Five bucks gets you in the door, with bands starting at 6 p.m. If you’re not ready to go home after all that rock 'n' roll, Fond Object will cap off the night with a double-feature screening in the backyard, showing an episode of the beloved British conspiracy series The Prisoner and cult classic film The Beaver Trilogy. Be seeing you.
