Weekend Round-Up: Led Zeppelin IV Style

Hey, happy 42nd anniversary of the release of Led Zeppelin IV! I've always held up Houses of the Holy as my personal fave, but the more I think about it, the more I think maybe IV is at the top for me. A lifetime of hearing crappy guitar-store renditions of "Stairway to Heaven" may have something to do with it getting nudged out of first place. Anyway. Killer album! Duh!

But here in Nashville in 2013, we've got a strong-looking weekend on our hands. Tonight you're looking at: Sleigh Bells at Marathon Music Works; Young the Giant at The High Watt; Mystery Twins' album release with Bully and Wooden Wand at The Stone Fox; Gnarwhal and The Prophet Nathan's 7-inch release at Boheme Collectif; and plenty more. Tomorrow you've got: Orange Goblin with Holy Grail and more at Exit/In; the debut of #Rapclub at The Owl Farm; Wooden Wand early at Grimey's; and more. There's even some action on Sunday, what with the Black Lips film screening at The Stone Fox and show at Exit/In. Have a look at the rest — compiled by Adam "Black Dog" Gold — after the jump. Let us know what we missed, and have yourselves a Rock and Roll weekend.
