Project designer Luke Tidwell says, "The Cordelle will emphasize the history and charm of the original Victorian home while also providing a spacious and light-filled modern hall. This project will be a significant contribution to the redevelopment of the Rutledge Hill community."
Our boy J.R. Lind over at sister publication Nashville Post reports the following in his "Permit Patrol" round-up: "Powell has the $450,000 contract to add 2,831 square feet to an existing 2,026 square-foot two-story building at 45 Lindsley on Rutledge Hill. The former Victorian home will be converted to The Cordelle, an event space."
Anyway. Neat-looking spot, right?
Update: The folks from Powell — who are also behind the brand-new Crying Wolf in East Nashville, by the way — sent along a photo from The Cordelle's groundbreaking ceremony. See that after the jump.
