Season's Greetings and 'Good King Wenceslas' Courtesy of The Nobility [Fresh Vid]

Never ones to slack off in the effort department (as evidenced by their penchant for impressive packages), droll local indie-pop troupe The Nobility would like to wish us all season's greetings in the form of a popular and totally-not-archaic Christmas carol. Pretty in character for America's most convivial band, I must say. As you can see above, frontman Sean Williams and his band of sporting songsters took on the yuletide tune "Good King Wenceslas" in order to bring us all a touch of holiday cheer. But what's this? Why, this isn't the precise arrangement of "Wenceslas" I'm accustomed to, no no! Something's amiss! Perhaps The Nobility can explain just what that's all about:

As any rabid fan of hymn-writer, John Mason Neale, will be quick to point out, we've only sung three of the five verses penned for "Good King Wenceslas." Given that 2013 is upon us, we felt an obligation to cater to the attention spans of the large crossover fanbase we share with Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj.

Ah. Fair, accurate and understood. The video was shot by Taylor Burgess. Thank you, The Nobility, and happy holidays to you as well. Nog and yule and so forth to you and yours, cheers!
