You don't have to be Jewish to love Levy's Rye Bread," reads a legendary Manhattan billboardin fact, adslogans.com lists the phrase in its Advertising Slogan Hall of Fame. That tagline could just as well apply to www.barmitzvahdisco.com, a website that promotes the upcoming book of the same name. You certainly don't have to be Jewish to bust a gut laughing at classic bar mitzvah photos, mostly from the 1980s and early '90s, capturing that most awkward phase of adolescent development. Our favorite part is the "Entertainers" gallery, which features a Dolly Parton/Burt Reynolds impersonation duo, a couple of dancers who look like either Xanadu extras or Sarasota call girls, and a DJ whose unfortunately tight spandex pants could qualify him for a child molester watch list. Visitors can post comments for each photo; Mr. Spandex comments include "I've got the number of a great mohel for you," "I always wondered what he did before Jane's Addiction" and "The Eighties: a whole decade of 'what the fuck was I thinking?'
