When: Fri., Dec. 31, 9 p.m. 2010
In what will be one of the largest and most diverse gatherings of DJs in Music City history, Unify is a New Year’s Eve dance party curated by Everything’s Nice Productions that aims to work Ninth Avenue South into sweaty, celebratory abandon for 10 hours. Starting at 9 p.m., over 60 DJs from the Southeast and West Coast will throw down in four distinctly themed spaces, each within Avenue 9 (just outside downtown), spinning everything from the hotly tipped dubstep genre to D&B, electro, mash-ups, deep funk, disco and more. Headliners include Atlanta’s Trillbass and Charlie P, San Francisco’s Geno Cochino, Orlando’s Random Movement, St. Louis’ Fastcode and our very own Wattie Green and Noise Floor. Elsewhere, local favorites Coach, Hands Off Sam and the ever-popular Mashville crew will represent Nashville alongside DJs from, well, literally every crew in the city. A free champagne toast for all drops at midnight, just in time for Unify to really start getting batty.
