The Arcade Image

The Arcade, which opened way back in 1903, was Nashville’s first enclosed shopping area. Today its top floor is filled with small art galleries that participate in the First Saturday Art Crawl every month, and the bottom floor houses a number of different eateries and shops, including the top-notch N.Y.-style pizza joint Manny’s House of Pizza, nut and candy haven The Peanut Shop and J. Gumbo’s, which serves up some tasty Bumblebee Stew. There’s also a post office, if you need somewhere to drop off all those postcards you’re sending back home.
