When: Tuesdays-Saturdays. Continues through July 31 2010
July is getting off to an appropriate bang with the Art After Hours and First Saturday art events teaming up for a full schedule of gallery-going as we head into the pyromaniacal, barbecued beer-bust that will again christen the United States of America as the greatest nation on this great, green Earth. Zeitgeist will fly its flag tonight with the second installment of its summer series of group shows, Right to Assemble. The show features work by Derek Cote, Todd McDaniel, Kristi Hargrove, Andrew Smaldone and Ruth Zelanski. While all of the artists engage in particular dialogs about space, architecture and the borders that separate the extrinsic from the intimate, it seems that Zelanski's dramatic, scale-study photographs have the most to say.
