Quiet Entertainer Record Release feat. Hanzelle, The Fistikuffs & Spoken Nerd

When: Fri., Aug. 10, 9 p.m. 2012

Of all the people clamoring for attention in Music City, Quiet Entertainer may be the most soft-spoken — but his artistic voice has greater resonance than most. He doesn’t release a lot of music, his Internet presence tends to be more cordial than controversial, and he just kind of hangs back and keeps it ... entertaining. Quietly, of course. He’s been refining his live performance, finding a deep, ambient hip-hop groove that incorporates DJ skills, live production techniques, and most recently, live video-mixing. It’s basically exactly what you want from a guy with a well-documented love for Tangerine Dream. Tonight he celebrates the release of his latest album Dream Sequencer — we see what you did there! — with electro-phreakz Hanzelle, party-goon performance artists Fistikuffs and the guy with the biggest beard in underground rap, Spoken Nerd.
