Project Potluck

When: Thu., Aug. 21, 6 p.m. 2014

With a mission to cultivate community and alleviate hunger by bringing people together to grow, cook and share nourishing food, The Nashville Food Project collaborates with many area organizations, including the Frist Center and Oasis Center’s International Teen Outreach Program. Tonight, they’re inviting the entire community to participate in their annual Project Potluck: A Common Meal. Gathering at the Wedgewood Urban Gardens, The Nashville Food Project will provide the entrée and tableware; all you have to bring is a side dish to share. Parking will be available on side streets, and you may want to bring a blanket to sit on, picnic style, or chairs. (They also encourage bringing instruments, if you want to start or participate in a singalong, as well as bug spray.) Children are welcome, and the event is free to attend. ABBY WHITE
