Maybe it’s because we’ve been obsessed with The Dirtbombs’ new album Party Store — it’s America’s best rock ’n’ roll band covering early Detroit techno classics — or maybe the dubstep explosion of late has finally shaken the cobwebs out of our brain, but we have been seriously jonesin’ for some techno lately. Luckily, the Konstructure Records crew was thinking the exact same thing. Featuring long sets — another thing we’ve been seriously craving, as we’ve had enough of this hour-long set bullshit — from Oliver Dodd, Empathetic and Grey People, Noir promises to be a night filled with minimalist beauty and maximum bounce. As an added bonus, this is quite possibly the first time the whole Konstructure crew has manned the decks together on home turf; expect to get your mind blown and your ass shook.
