Regional premieres have become Tennessee Women’s Theater Project’s calling card, and Michael Jacobs’ romantic comedy from 2009 adds to the résumé. The original Broadway production featured Jeremy Irons and Joan Allen, and reviews were mixed during its relatively brief run — though the show’s strong main roles should keep interest high here. The setting is an art gallery, where the owner and her assistant, both emotionally shattered, appear to be hiding from the world. To enact this cautiously optimistic vehicle, director Maryanna Clarke has assembled a notable cast that stars Holly Allen and Jeremy Childs, with excellent support promised from Terry Occhiogrosso, Tamiko Robinson, David Chattam, James Rudolph and young Virginia Richardson.
