Hillsboro Greenhouse Benefit at Edgehill Village

Good Cause

Every third Thursday each month, the retail/restaurant/loft development in the old White Way Laundry building—now known as Edgehill Village—devotes its space, facilities and a portion of proceeds to a different local cause. Today’s recipient is the greenhouse at Hillsboro High School, where the school’s Life Skills program teaches horticulture and plant care as a possible career path to students with disabilities. The greenhouse is now in sore need of renovation, and all Edgehill Village’s shops and restaurants are donating a portion of sales toward fixing it up. Come sip bubble tea from Fat Straw or a latte from Edgehill Studios Café, have a Dulce Desserts cupcake, listen to live music, and peruse the offerings of Edgehill’s tenants.
