Happy Valley Comes to Murfreesboro

Happy Bucket

We were sorting out the flotsam and jetsam that passes for the Club 527 web presence (c'mon guys, a site map but no event listings?) when we stumbled across a listing for “Happy Valley.” Could it be that one of Nashville's most chic dance nights had opened up a franchise in...Murfreesboro? Don't get us wrong, we love the City of Buckets, but it seemed like an odd fit for HV's upscale/downtown vibe—clubbin' on a rooftop above Lower Broad is not the same as clubbin' across from the train tracks, next to the tattoo parlor. Luckily we ran into the Valley's man-with-the-plan, Jim O'Shea, and he cleared the whole thing up for us—this is an all-new night with a new vibe and the same great music you've come to expect with DJ Coach behind the decks. Which makes sense, since M'boro does have swagger, in its own weird sort of way.
