I like to give a huge shout-out to bands from Murfreesboro whenever I get the chance, and Glossary’s new album Long Live Us All deserves a serious whoop and a holler. Because of the amount of time the band was able to spend on the album in their recording studio in Rockvale, there’s less of a dirty-dog feel than there was with Feral Fire — and the clean approach makes for an uplifting set of songs that just beg to be replayed. I haven’t seen Glossary perform since (in a strange turn of events) they played at my wedding in 2009, but the word in the ’Boro is that the guys and gal played a hell of a set at Bonnaroo this year — and we all know how fast word can spread in Murfreesboro. Jasmin Kaset will add her peculiar jams and alluring croon to complete a night dominated by Murfreesboro talent.
