FuseBox Theatre's Craig's List Show

Missed Connections

Of all its various new improv-based projects, this is the one that has gained FuseBox Theatre its most devoted following. Via rear-screen projection, audience members travel with the troupe through the weird, sometimes outrageous postings found on Craig's List--personals, services, items for sale, business opportunities, etc.--then focus more closely on a few that serve as jumping-off points for improvised scenes. The atmosphere has been known to get a little rowdy at these shows--beer never hurts, of course--testifying to the power of both the Craig's List phenomenon and the immediacy of interactive theater.
