When: Fri., Feb. 4, 5:30-8 p.m. 2011
The Arts Company, Tinney Contemporary and The Rymer Gallery are the anchors of Nashville’s ever-popular art crawl. This month, they decided to add a little twist to everyone’s favorite wine-and-cheese social. Tonight they will play host to the inaugural Collector’s Art Night on the eve of art-crawl activities. Free, but limited to 125 spaces, the evening will include art talks by Norman Lerner, Gordon Chandler and Brett De Palma. The galleries will also offer cocktails, refreshments and free valet parking. If the swankiness isn’t a big enough draw for you, the chance to meet Norman Lerner should be. Born in 1927, he was a part of the history of 20th century photography. Remember to contact a participating gallery to register.
