Chancellor Warhol w/Sam and Tre, Gummy Soul & Ducko McFli

When: Fri., March 2, 9 p.m. 2012

Put on your antler helmets, it's time to get buck! Hot on the heals of his latest mixtape Playlist for Edie — a finely crafted experiment in further blurring lines between rock, hip-hop and electronic music — Chance Warhol headlines the big room with support from the city's other hipster-hop heavyweights Sam & Tre, up and comers The Flamingos and pop chanteuse Kyra Christian. But simultaneously — because we know that there's no such thing as too much hip-hop — there's a whole other crew keeping it trill-school in the lounge with AL-D and The Boom Bap's DJ Rate. Gummy Soul — who also have a new mixtape, the doo-wop influenced Lovers Lane — and rapper/producer Ducko Mcfli are joined newcomer Nam White. Like we said, it's time to strap on the ol' antler helmet on and throw down like it counts.
