Bone Jam

We all know what a tedious stretch the week between Christmas and New Year’s can be. Here we all are, languishing in our homes, fat and greasy with Christmas ham residue, too disinterested to do anything but play on our new iPhones and post the shittier of our presents on eBay. Well, forget that! How does a free show sound? A free show with two-for-ones and loads of spot-on covers from a band of old pros? According to 5 Spot co-owner Todd Sherwood, Bones Explosion is “a band of original East Siders and 5 Spot employees [that does] a bunch of covers, from The Stones to The Allman Brothers.” Bones Explosion typically just come out for St. Patrick’s Day, but this year they’ve decided to spice up the year’s most languid week. For free! Come on, this will make you feel better. Get up. Now. Do it. Cat Man Don’t open.
