Dr. Register, We'll See Your Legal Opinion And Play The MLK Card

And then this appeared on the internet this morning ...

A group of charter advocates calling themselves the Black Alliance for Educational Options hit back at MNPS superintendent Jesse Register and the school board for seeking an outside legal opinion to challenge the validity of Tennessee's charter law.

After opening with images from the March on Washington, the video closes: "Dear Dr. Register, Please STOP spending money on expensive Washington DC lawyers. And invest in better public school choices for Nashville's students."

The national group has chapters in Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Milwaukee, Mississippi, Ohio and Philadelphia, but not Tennessee.
