She's tough, she's blunt, she tells it like it is. If I have one hope in the world, it's that the personality for People's Revolution fashion publicist Kelly Cutrone you see on TV shows such as The Hills, The City and now Bravo's Kell on Earth — you know, the straight-shooting, no-bullshit-taking awesomeness that has earned her the title of one of the "coolest, most intimidating persons ever," a formidable woman who gets shit done — is in fact her real personality and not just a reality-TV show construct. Because she's coming to Nashville to grace us with her industry knowledge and all-around tough-but-loyal aura.

Lexus Nashville Fashion Week, which takes place March 29 around town and is the city's first official such endeavor, has just confirmed that Cutrone will appear as a guest speaker on April 1. The deets aren't confirmed yet as to her speaking location/time or the price of tickets, but the news alone is shaping up to be quite the interesting event. From the PR:

Kelly Cutrone, CEO and founder of People’s Revolution, best-selling author and television personality, will participate in Lexus Nashville Fashion Week. Cutrone will talk about her career as a leading fashion publicist and brand strategist and share insights from her book, If You Have to Cry, Go Outside. The book will be available for purchase. Cutrone’s talk is scheduled for April 1, 2011. Location, time and ticket details will be announced in mid-February.

“I am so excited to be a part of Nashville Fashion Week,” said Cutrone. “From the first ladies of country to the grand dames of the country, the King! The Queens! and The Man in Black — Nashville has created some of the world's most memorable fashion moments. I heart Nashville!”

Stay tuned for more details.
