Okay, folks. I've got a question for you. This will be my very first 4th of July in Nashville and I want to know what to do. What's this Riverfront Park deal and is there anything more to do than listen to a bunch of music, walk around and sweat while eating funnel cake? Can I bring my dog? I know I'll be watching the fireworks from a friend's backyard, so that part is all set. But you see, I come from a town that tends to go a little overboard with holidays ֠think the town on Gilmore Girls
, only without the witty banter ֠and I have high expectations for my July 4ths. What is there to do around here? Are there any good, cheesy parades? I thought there might be one in Franklin, although the city's website
only mentions a children's costume parade. Do you guys have any good suggestions?
