Well, here’s some nifty concert news: Precocious kiwi-pop princess au courante, Lorde, announced a 22-date North American run of theaters and festivals that comes to Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House on Sept. 22. This will mark the “Royals” singer’s Music City Debut, y’all! Even though said date is more than three months away, that gives you plenty of time to think ahead and plan a whole day of Oprylandtastic activities around the show — you know, get down there early, do lunch at Chuy’s, catch a flick at the IMAX and then pre-game it across the way at Dave & Buster's. #LordeParkingLot. Tickets (probably) go on sale sometime Tuesday, presumably right here
. We’ll keep you posted.
Update: Tickets go on sale Friday, June 6, at 10 a.m. via The Opry's site. You can also register to purchase tickets early via Lorde's site.
And now, because I’ll take any excuse to bring up Bruce Springsteen, take an ICYMI-look at The Boss covering “Royals” — proof positive for anyone who doubts it’s a great song.
