From the Department of Kids Interviewing Local Musicians — a department that already has one excellent entry thanks to the impressive skills of a wise-beyond-his-years young music journo named Marcel — comes the above clip from the Columbus, Ohio-based site Kids Interview Bands. Keegan DeWitt and Jeremy Bullock of local electro-pop ensemble
Wild Club Wild Cube Wild Cub recently sat down for a chat with KIB's Olivia, who grills the fellas on topics as far-reaching as favorite cereals and The Spice Girls (spoiler: DeWitt definitely likes them, not as a joke). Past Kids Interviewing Bands subjects have included Carly Rae Jepsen and Slayer's Tom Araya, among about a hundred others.
Though Wild Cub's Youth has been out since 2012, today the LP sees re-release via Mom + Pop (purchase it via the Cubbies' site). DeWitt & Co. have indeed been touring hard in support of Youth for a year-and-a-half, and tonight their efforts will be rewarded on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, where they'll make their network-television debut. They'll follow Bill "Baller Status" Gates and SNL's super-talented Kate McKinnon on one of Jimmy Fallon's final Late Nights before being called up to the majors on Feb. 17. Anyway, tune in, or check back here tomorrow, as we'll almost certainly post the performance, duh.
