Morning, punkinheads! So, perhaps you recall that former Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore will bring his project Chelsea Light Moving to Exit/In on Monday, where they'll be supported by local champ William Tyler. Contributor Jordan Lawrence penned a little something on CLM for us, noting that "the band's self-titled effort is all jagged guitars and elongated crescendos, capturing the catchy insistence of 2009's [Sonic Youth record] The Eternal but opting for a darker, punk-inspired sound." Venture after the jump to see a video of the band playing "Empires of Time" in a Northampton, Mass., basement. Pretty cool stuff.
So anyway, want a pair of tickets? We can totes make that happen for you. Let's do the caption contest thing. See that particularly LOL-worthy picture above? Dream up with the most gut-busting caption imaginable for the pic and post it down there in our comments section. Be sure to include your email address in the appropriate field — we won't publish it, but we'll need it in order to contact our winner. We'll select our fave on Monday, day of show. That gives you the whole weekend to come up with something golden. All right, ready to do it? Go!
Update: We have our winner! Thanks for playing.
