Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar to Play Bridgestone Arena Nov. 27



Yeezus saves!

Remember when I included hyper-aggressively modest, levelheaded hip-hop up-and-comer Kanye West on my list of touring artists that probably won’t play Nashville? Well fuuuuuuuck me and my crystal ball, as Kanye West just announced a Nashville stop on his much-anticipated Yeezus Tour, which mirthfully kicked off Saturday in Seattle.

A likely last-minute Music City tack-on to the Yeezus itinerary — the tour stops at our own Bridgestone Arena Nov. 27. Equally levelheaded and evermore modest whippersnapper rapper Kendrick Lamar opens. Tickets go on sale here, this Friday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. (prices TBA).

The Bridgestone appearance is Kanye’s first outing in Middle Tennessee since his ill-fated 2008 Bonnaroo bust, and his first in Middle Tennessee to feature Confederate flag-themed swag.
