R. Stevie Moore Reissues Delicate Tension and Glad Music; See His Infomercial

Ah, the dauntingly dense, gem-laden catalog of legendary local bedroom-pop craftsman R. Stevie Moore. Moore has of course released dozens and dozens and dozens of albums, among them 1978's Delicate Tension and 1986's Glad Music. The two long-players have now been given the reissue treatment courtesy of Brooklyn's Personal Injury Records, and you can purchase them here and here, respectively.

To celebrate his albums' re-release, Mr. Moore has put together the above commercial, which features footage from 12 different RSM music videos and clips from the man's appearance on The Uncle Floyd Show. (Visit the Vimeo page for links to every single video that was used.) Moore himself narrates the commercial in what a release calls "his best 'K-tel announcer after two bottles of wine' impression." For good measure, stream both Delicate Tension and Glad Music after the jump. You can buy either record via Bandcamp for $10, but why not spend the extra $6 to get the vinyl and a download card? Only a suggestion.
