Tomorrow's Musicians' Corner Event at Centennial Park Has Been Canceled

Bummer news for folks who were hoping to catch tomorrow's Musicians' Corner event at Centennial Park. The show — slated to be the kickoff of this year's concert series with performances from Charles Walker, Andrew Ripp, The Fairfield Four and more — has been canceled due to the threat of severe weather. The official statement:

Due to the potential for severe weather, Musicians Corner and the Food Truck Fiesta have been canceled for Saturday, May 4 in order to protect the safety of attendees and staff. Musicians Corner, which is held outdoors in Centennial Park, is Nashville's premier free family music event.

It is unfortunate the kick-off performance cannot move forward as planned but we invite the Nashville community to join us for the next show on Saturday, May 11 when we welcome Matt Wertz, Green River Ordinance and Gregory Alan Isakov.

So, just go ahead and forget about those three times [1, 2, 3] we told you to go to this thing. Anyway, you know how nasty it gets this time of year. Be safe out there!
