As promised, iconic indie-rock road dogs Yo La Tengo stopped in at Grimey's over the weekend for a hot-chicken-bolstered in-store in advance of their sold-out show at Mercy Lounge. Lucky for us, Cream/Scene contributor Lance Conzett and his trusty camera were present at the in-store, and he shot a good little chunk of YLT's performance. Check out "Autumn Sweater" from 1997's I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One above, and head after the jump to see "Paddle Forward" (from their brand-new Fade) and "Be Thankful for What You Got" (originally performed by William DeVaughn, featured on YLT's 1997 Little Honda EP). Thanks for shooting, Lance!
