I don’t know about you guys, but my day just got real sexual. Why? This statement from Donnie Wahlberg
: “Ladies, we’re coming for you.” Oh my God, he’s talking about me
. ABOUT US. Let me calm down for a minute and break it down for you: NKOTB is returning
to Bridgestone on June 18, and they’re bringing Boyz II Men and 98 Degrees with them, and it’s going to be hilarious for sure, but I kind of think they’re in on the joke because they’ve named it "The Package Tour
" for Christ’s sake, so maybe I shouldn’t feel so guilty about getting really, really excited.
Back to Donnie, the man who once broke my 8-year-old heart by saying “Drugs suck!” at a concert, which was way harsh for my little sheltered ears and is the actual reason that half my class transferred their crushes onto the more family-friendly Jordan and the closeted Jonathan. “This is going to be the craziest year yet — the single, the album, the tour with 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men … We can’t wait to give fans ‘The Package!’” OK, maybe that’s kind of gross. Keep it clean, Donnie, for fuck’s sake.
Tickets for The Package Tour go on sale Feb. 2, while American Express card members can get advance tickets starting this Friday, Jan. 25.
Editor's notes: Curious as to what the Venn diagram overlap will be with this NKOTB show and the recently announced Rush appearance at Bridgestone on May 1. Also, One Direction will play Bridgestone the day after "The Package Tour" drops in. What do you think the likelihood is that the hot young boy band and these cool old man bands will pass one another in the hotel corridor, mad-dogging all the way?
