Animal Collective and Dan Deacon To Play Marathon Music Works March 13

Post-millennial neo-psych trendsetters Animal Collective have been touring in support of their tenth LP, Centipede Hz, since its release back in September. They've just announced that they'll be playing a string of dates in March with fellow Baltimore-native experimentalist and weirdo Dan Deacon, and that trek will bring them to Nashville's Marathon Music Works on Marc 13. Tickets — which go on sale right here Friday, Jan. 18, at 10 a.m. — will run you $25 in advance and $27 day of.

To properly prepare your domespace, go ahead and watch the official video for Animal Collective's "Today's Supernatural" above. Dune-buggy desert monsters and Avey Tare in psychedelic skull-clown makeup? Sounds like A.C. to me. Hat-tip to my buddy Handsome Dave for hipping me to this announcement.
