Nearly three years after migrating to Music City, The Black Keys are finally playing a proper “hometown” show. According to an official tweet this morning, the international blues-rock superstars will park their El Camino, if you will, at Bridgestone Arena on May 3. Equally, if not more exciting: The Flaming Lips will open, thus promising Nashville a night of surefire fearless thickfreakiness. At press time, this is the final date on the Keys' extensive arena tour in support of their platinum-selling El Camino LP. Tickets go on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m. right here. Fees included, them stubs will cost you $47.75-$61.99.

So whattaya think, can the The Rubber Factory Rockers fill The Tire Barn? Can the (at times) dynamic duo Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney and their hired guns top Wayne Coyne & Co.’s life-affirming, cosmic assault of confetti, balloons and alterna-psych bombast with their expertly crafted, psuedo-indie, uber-commerical blues hammerage? Will JEFF the Brotherhood get tacked onto the bill? Predict. Discuss!
