Who here enjoys holiday-themed neo-classical prog-metal? About three years back, The Spin attended a matinee performance from yuletide symphonic rockers Trans-Siberian Orchestra at what was then known as Sommet Center. And according to The Spin, said performance featured all the "epic shredding, sequenced fireball bursts, laser matrices and cheesy synths we'd spent our Christmas wishes wishing for." Well, the almighty TSO spectacle will return to the arena — known as Bridgestone now, of course — on Dec. 26 (Boxing Day/Kwanzaa kickoff!) to perform "their acclaimed rock opera, 'The Lost Christmas Eve.'" Does that sound like something you might like to see during your post-Christmas comedown? Well maybe we can help.
We've been offered a pair of tickets to one of TSO's performances at Bridgestone on Dec. 26, and we want to give those away to a lucky reader. Now, before you scoff to yourself, "How silly," I must tell you: The Orchestra puts on a total spectacle of a show, and I doubt you'll find a way to see more lights, flashes, bursts, solos and rafter-reaching wail-fests for free on the day after Christmas. So. You know the rules. Come up with the most clever, sidesplitting caption imaginable for the image you see above. Post your caption down there in the comments section, and be sure to include your email address in the appropriate field — we won't publish it, but we'll need it in order to contact our winner. We'll contact our fave on Friday, Dec. 21, around midday. Sound good? All right, go!
