See Natural Child's Hard in Heaven Album Art, Hear 'Derek's Blues' [Fresh Track]

Could you call 2012 The Year of Natural Child? They've crisscrossed the country on tour, headlined our sixth anniversary party, released a 7-inch via Jeffery Drag and, as of a week from tomorrow, they will have released two full-length albums via Burger Records. Hard in Heaven — the follow-up to April's For the Love of the Game — will be released digitally on Sept. 18. According to NC's people, "a vinyl release date is still TBA."

Natty Child already shared the Hard in Heaven cut "B$G P$MP$N" with us, but here they come again with another preview taste. Have a look over there on the right for the Hard album art, and cruise down to the bottom of this post to hear "Derek's Blues." As the Child men told, the song's message is somewhat Claptonian:

“There ain’t nothin garage about this song,” the band tells of ‘Derek’s Blues.’ “It’s about loving a woman you know you can’t have. The guitar solos can be translated into Eric Clapton’s life story.”
