Rolling Stone Premieres The Weeks' 'House We Grew up In,' Fancytramp Releases 'Loaded Gun' [Fresh Vid Round-Up]

Well. Like it or not, the blogosphere is popping off today, so how about two completely unrelated music videos from two completely unrelated bands to take us on into the weekend?

As you may recall, The Weeks are a young crew of Mississippians, now relocated to Nashville, and one of the first bands signed to Kings of Leon's Serpents and Snakes label. Their Gutter Gaunt Gangster will be out via S&S on Sept. 25, and they've just debuted their video for their nostalgic, upbeat, eerily KOL-esque tune "House We Grew up In" over at Rolling Stone. RS uses the phrases "high spirits" and "all in good fun" to describe the video, so there's what we're dealing with.

And now for something completely different. Local bubble-grunge outfit (as I've labeled them) Fancytramp has a video for their tune "Loaded Gun." It's a Digital Bohemia joint, shot by Christopher Roberts on black-and-white Super 8 film. "Loaded Gun" is from Fancytramp's Singing Tower at Sunset EP, which you can stream now via their Bandcamp page. They'll throw a tape release party at The Groove on July 22. See "Loaded Gun" after the jump.
