Weekend Round-Up: Go Preds Style

First up, no Crofton Show once again this week, unfortunately. Crofton's pesky day job keeps getting in the way of him and his boys making serious art. I say we go down there and try to get him fired — that way he can make a new show every day!

Now, as far as hockey goes, I personally don't follow it. I mean, I quite literally can't follow it. I don't have great vision, so I can't see the puck. I basically feel like I'm getting pranked whenever someone puts on a hockey game — like, "What are they swatting at? I don't see anything." That said, what's good for the city is good for the city, so go Preds. There's still a chance they can pull it off, right? Maybe? We all wish 'em the best.

Rock 'n' roll, however, is a different story, and there's a bit of that going on this weekend, as well. Tonight, you're looking at The Twilight Singers with Margot and the Nuclear So and So's at Mercy Lounge, Dead Confederate performing Neil's Tonight's the Night with Andrew Combs at Exit/In, a hip-hop showcase at The End, Gentleman Divers at The 5 Spot and more. Tomorrow, we've got Musicians Corner with The Westbound Rangers and more at Centennial Park, Jasmin Kaset at The Basement, Guilty Pleasures at Mercy Lounge, Bohannons at FooBar and more. Have a look at the rest of the listings — compiled by music listings editor Adam "Goldberg From The Mighty Ducks" Gold — after the jump. Let us know what we missed, and have a good weekend.
