A couple weeks ago, Daniel Pujol stopped by the Scene offices to tape what DPR rightly called "the most death-defying Conference Call yet," playing two songs while perched upon a rickety ladder that for some unknown reason lives in our conference room. (The sound you hear that sounds like tornado sirens is a recording of tornado sirens that was playing in the background on a cell phone.) This here is a brand-new song called "Providence," which required a few takes because ... well, you'll see why. Check back tomorrow for part two, in which Pujol plays a song that will make MEEMAW fans happy and gives a shout-out to his muse.
