Here we are on a disarmingly snowy Monday. You know what we could use? A fresh track. As you may recall, The Paperhead — formerly The Looking Glass — released a single via Nashville's Dead not so long ago. Now they've announced that their eponymous debut LP will be out March 22 via Chicago's Trouble in Mind Records. The record was produced and "spiritually advised" by Cheap Time's Jeffrey Novak, and we've got a sneak peak for you.

Mellow psychedelia in the vein of Strawberry Alarm Clock, The Electric Prunes, The Chocolate Watchband or any number of culinarily monikered early acid-rock outfits, "Back to Those Days" feels a bit like an as-yet-undiscovered Nugget, cutting through the nostalgic haze with fuzzed-out tones and Farfisa fuel. And we're talking about a trio of teenagers, here. Peep "Back to Those Days" below, or visit The Paperhead's MySpace profile for the two tracks off of their ND single — better yet, buy the single.
