Kutiman is an Israeli dude who started a website called ThruYOU, wherein he took YouTube videos of people playing various musical instruments or singing, and then comped those clips together into songs. It's basically just sampling using videos, but boy is it awesome. And the rawness of some of the source material makes the effect especially eerie and cool. Plus, with the video, there are cues for how the original sounds were cut/time-shifted to fit into the new composition.
Read more about it here. (And shame on me for not checking in with O-Dub in a while.) Until ThruYou gets its internet powers back, you can check out more videos here, and see Kutiman's methodology here. (Via S/FJ.)
