As of yesterday, your chance to mix and mingle at the altar of indie-core ended when all tickets sold out
for the Pitchfork Festival taking place July 13-15 in Chicago's Union Park.
I've never been before but plan to go this year—the lineup and the urban environs are bigger attractions for me. Sonic Youth are performing Daydream Nation
in its entirety, and Klaxons, who seem unlikely to grace the 615 anytime soon, are closing it out on Sunday. Between those two musically motivating bookends, there's bound to be some dust-free, shade-positive surprises. Yoko Ono anyone?
So, anyone going? If so, why?
