The Nashville Symphony announced this morning that Christian Siriano will be the featured designer at the Nashville Symphony Fashion Show on April 29, 2014 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Siriano will show his Fall 2014 collection.
Siriano, who won the fourth season of Project Runway, debuted his first collection in 2006 and has shown each season at New York Fashion Week since. He opened the flagship Christian Siriano store in New York City in 2012 and was inducted as a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) earlier this year.
You may have seen one of his ethereal evening gowns on the red carpet; his fans include Christina Hendricks, Runway's Heidi Klum and Taylor Swift, who donned the sugary sweet gown below for her Wonderstruck perfume campaign:
Tickets, which include reserved seating and a cocktail buffet after the runway show, start at $300, and before you balk, let it be known that this is a fundraiser to support the Nashville Symphony's education programs which impact 100,000 children in Middle Tennessee every year.
Siriano is no stranger to Nashville; he's shown collections at Nashville Fashion Week in 2011 and 2012 and was the featured designer at Nfocus magazine's Model Behavior fashion show last year. He is also entirely adorable and I kind of want to put him in my pocket.
