Shop Local: EraBellum Grand Opening is Tonight!

Interested in shopping local, but not sure where to start? Four entrepreneurial creatives, Marrah Florita (m.florita jewelry), Bari Miley (Ashwood Estates), Carrie Williams (Sabrosa Vintage), Céline Bailey (Céline Bailey Design) and Clay Kottler (Clay Kottler Woodcraft), quietly opened artisan co-op EraBellum on Sept. 1, but tonight they're celebrating their official grand opening from 6 to 9 p.m.

EraBellum, located near the Gulch on the corner of Eighth and Argyle at 1800 Eighth Ave., brings local retailers, fashion and jewelry designers, crafters and artists together in a charming building that offers affordable retail space for independent business owners. Additionally, the co-op members benefit from the shared support, promotion and information sharing that this new space allows.

Each co-op member brings their unique talent to the space, creating an eclectic shopping opportunity for those who like to buy things a little left of center. Presently, there are approximately 30 different curated collections — including d. marlene Jewelry, Sylvan Lamp Company and Marisa Ray Art — at EraBellum, and expect to see this group continue to evolve.

With the exception of tonight's grand opening party, EraBellum is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. In addition to getting a first look at the EraBellum goods, tonight's party offers giveaways, a photobooth and music from Gummy Soul’s Amerigo Gazaway.
