Thousands of whirling flying saucers appear above the Earth without warning or explanation to send down zombie-fying rays that resurrect the dead into a marauding horde bent on destroying humanity. But these faceless and nameless aliens are unaware of Earth’s greatest weapon — the Japanese jet rock ’n’ roll coolness of Guitar Wolf, against which no marauding Martian or rotting corpse can stand!
If that sounds too crazy to be real, just repeat: “This is a Japanese zombie movie. This is a Japanese zombie movie.” Then get yourself down to the Cult Fiction Underground at Logue’s Black Raven Emporium, 2915 Gallatin Pk., for Wild Zero — one of the damnedest things you’ll ever see, and a movie that simply must be viewed with a rowdy crowd. This is a one-night-only showing on Friday at 8 and 10 p.m., so don’t get left behind ... like all those squares who can’t groove to the power of rock ’n’ roll!
