Celebrate 10 Years of Yazoo Beer at Two-Day Birthday Bash

Man, there sure is a lot of beer news lately here at Bites. But we're all fans of beery buzz and buzzy beer, so we're happy to spread the word. You know you're loved when your birthday party lasts for two days, and that's exactly how Nashville feels about Yazoo Brewing Company. It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since Linus Hall sold his first kegs of Pale Ale, Dos Perros, Spring Wheat and Onward Stout, but it has indeed been a decade.

To celebrate their tin jubilee, Yazoo is throwing a two-day bash which will take up most of the space in their brewery and taproom in the Gulch, along with the parking lot. The band lineup includes Space Capone and The Delta Saints, and the brewmasters have promised some special products that may see the light of day only during the festival.

All ages are welcome, but of course you must be 21 or older to partake in the malty goodness. Yazoo even invites well-behaved four-legged friends to join in the fun. I guess that rules out my poodles. Maybe I'll bring a pony.

Yazoo 10 Years of Beer Birthday Bash
5 p.m. Oct. 4 and noon Oct. 5
