Today's lunch offerings include two bento boxes — a fried chicken version, and a vegetarian version featuring corn fritters. Sides include ginger-cabbage slaw, yuzu pickles and rice.
Tomorrow from 6 to 10 p.m., the menu includes a ramen bowl featuring smoked confit chicken (yummm!) and a limited number of mazeman bowls, which Otaku South mastermind Sarah Gavigan describes as a ramen dish with a sauce instead of a full broth. The mazeman will have uni (sea urchin) sauce, and will be topped with sweet corn, peekytoe crab and country ham.
Both events take place inside the market house.
