Jubilee Beer Releases Randy's IPA to Benefit Oasis

It's been almost three years since Jubilee Beer first rolled out their Nut Brown Ale, a beer they have subcontracted from Bluegrass Brewing Co. in Louisville. The hook to their product, other than it was a darned fine brew, was that Jubilee donates 50 percent of their profits to the Oasis Center. They are also a major sponsor of the yearly "Hot Chicken and Jorts" party, where many Nashvilliagers paint their necks red and party down in their Daisy Dukes.

Recently, Jubilee has come out with their second product, Randy's IPA. It's named after Randy, the mustached, mulleted and be-jorted character who is the mascot of the Hot Chicken and Jorts party. I sampled the beer, and trust me when I tell you it is much more attractive than Randy's hemline. In an attempt to get a little more local, Jubilee has contracted with Murfreesboro's Mayday Brewery to produce this lightly hopped India Pale Ale.

Again, Jubilee will be generously donating half the profits from Randy's IPA to Oasis. Look for it at your favorite beer bars and growler filling stations and let us know what you think of it.
