There's a New Chef in Town, Philip Shyatt, and Burger Up Wants to Show Him Off

Burger Up in 12South is proud to announce that Philip Shyatt has joined their team as the new executive chef. Shyatt studied Food Science at Clemson University and worked previously at YOLOS until he made the jump to Burger Up. In one more random trivial fact, Shyatt's father is the head basketball coach at the University of Wyoming after a stint running the team at Philip's alma mater.

To welcome Chef Shyatt to the kitchen and introduce him to the neighborhood, Burger Up is holding the third in their successful series of farm suppers, featuring Noble Springs Goat Cheese Farm. the dinner will be this Sunday, Sept. 23, and Shyatt promises to pull out all the stops on the menu. Dinner starts with cocktails at 6:30, and tickets will sell quickly, so head over to Burger Up's website to purchase your seat at the table for $60 per person.
