Eat a Hardee's Burger and Feel Good About It

Hardee's is something of a guilty pleasure for me, but I usually don't feel the same pangs of self-loathing afterwards as when I'm driving away from the Sonic with a lap full of tater tot dust and a mustard mustache from a carnival food frenzy. Hardee's is just my favorite fast-food burger destination when I don't have the time for Burger Up or the willingness to fight for a seat at the counter at Gabby's.

Now, for the third year in a row, Hardee's is collecting money at their restaurants for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at 90 participating locations in Middle and Eastern Tennessee. Customers who make a donation to the PBTF will also receive $10 in thank-you coupons from Hardee's.

The effort runs until April 16, and on Sunday, May 20, Hardee's will present a check to the PBTF during the Ride for Kids event in Franklin at Jim Warren Park. See below for all the details of the campaign:

Brain tumors are the deadliest form of childhood cancer, and Hardee's wants to help find a cure. This is the third year the company has supported the local pinup campaign, and customers have raised over $120,000 for the PBTF to date. Hardee's team members have turned in the funds at Ride for Kids events in Franklin, Tenn., and Knoxville.

"Every dollar makes a difference in the fight against pediatric brain tumors, and we're grateful that Hardee's is on our side," says Kyle Clack, national director of Ride for Kids. "This promotion is a great way for Hardee's customers to help kids in need while enjoying a delicious meal."

The promotion runs for the next five weeks, and coupons are available while supplies last.

So pull through the drive through or fire up your Harley to help out.
