From all accounts the tour was a resounding success as the group visited international markets and restaurants up and down the strip. They sampled food at several restaurants, and much commerce was transacted as they learned about exotic foods and ingredients to use in their home kitchens.
Now Paulette and Annakate are headed for the country as they plan to lead another cadre of 10 culinary tourists on a trip to visit local artisan farmers and craftsmen. They will visit organic farmers, heirloom vegetable growers, goat farmers, cheese makers and even artisan dye makers on the tour.
A special secret lunch is being planned to showcase the best of our region's local products.
